  • CHANGE: The color choices in the Members page Filter disappeared entirely when no member had a color, with nothing to say why, and when they did appear they showed every color and stretched the Filter across the window. The Filter now always has a Member Colors section. It offers only the colors members actually have, with smaller color squares that wrap onto rows, and when nobody has a color it says so and explains how to assign one. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41492
  • CHANGE: The Members page Filter no longer has the Reverify Initiated and Reverify Successful options. Members in either state still show the RI and RS badges in the member list.
  • CHANGE: The Members page Filter repeated "Email Delivery:", "Moderation Status:" and "Message Selection:" in front of every option, which made the list long and wide. The options are now grouped under those headings.
  • CHANGE: Choosing a tier in the Members page Filter applied the filter immediately, along with any other options that had been ticked but not yet applied. The tier is now applied with everything else when Apply is pressed, and closing the Filter without applying puts it back.
  • CHANGE: The color squares used to pick member, label and filter colors couldn't be reached with the keyboard and didn't tell screen readers their color or whether they were selected. They can now be reached with Tab, moved between with the arrow keys and chosen with Enter or Space, and each one announces its color name and whether it's selected.
  • CHANGE: The Bouncing badge was the same light blue as the Mod, Owner and other informational badges, so bouncing members were easy to miss. It's now orange, which sets it apart from the other badges and from the red Bounced badge. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41490
  • BUGFIX: Clicking a color in the Members page Filter also changed the color chosen in the Set Color and new label windows. Each color picker now only changes its own selection.
  • BUGFIX: The Location label and View map link on a member's profile were never translated. They now appear in the member's language once translations are updated.

  • CHANGE: The member list download on the Members page now includes a Profile Privacy column showing each member's profile privacy setting for the group: profile_private (only owners and moderators), profile_members or profile_public. Previously, the only way to see who had made their profile visible to other members was to check the Directory from a non-moderator account. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41468
  • BUGFIX: In the color menu on a member's page and on the Membership Defaults page, the No Color swatch was white with no outline, so it blended into the white menu and looked like an empty gap.   • CHANGE: Member labels on a member's page were larger than on the Members page and didn't use its label text style, so they looked like the Set Labels button next to them. They now look the same as on the Members page. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41394
  • CHANGE: Member label tooltips on the Members page and a member's page now show the label's description as well as its name. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41384
  • CHANGE: The Moderator Note icon on the Members page and a member's page is now solid and darker, so it stands out next to the member's badges. It now also shows its tooltip when you move to it with the keyboard and is read out by screen readers. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41384
  • CHANGE: Hovering over or tabbing to the Moderator Note icon on the Members page and a member's page now shows the note itself and when it was last updated, instead of just "Has Moderator Note".   • BUGFIX: In groups where members can see the member list, ordinary members could see the Moderator Note icon next to members who had a note. The icon is now shown only to moderators who can manage members.
  • BUGFIX: In groups where members can see the member list, searching the Members page also searched moderator notes, so ordinary members could find out which members had notes containing a word. Moderator notes are now searched only for moderators who can manage members.
  • API BUGFIX: /searchmembers also searched moderator notes for callers who could not read them. Moderator notes are now searched only for callers with permission to manage members.
  • API BUGFIX: /searchmemberdirectory didn't follow the rules of the member directory on the website. It required permission to view the member list instead of the member directory, searched every extra member data field, returned pending, banned and unconfirmed members and members with private profiles, and let members whose own profile is private search. It now matches the website: it requires the view_member_directory permission, searches only the extra member data fields marked Viewable In A Member's Profile, returns only active members, shows members with private profiles only to moderators and owners, and returns an inadequate_permissions error to members whose own profile is private. Moderators and owners can now also search by email address, as on the website.
  • CHANGE: Sorting the Members page by a column cleared any members you had checked. Checked members now stay checked when you sort, including ones checked on other pages. The same applies on Pending Messages, your own Pending Messages, Drafts, View RSVPs, and Direct Add for subgroups. https://beta.groups.io/g/main/message/41424
  • BUGFIX: On the Members page, Drafts, and a member's Subgroups page, if you unchecked something you had checked before going to another page, it was checked again when you changed pages. Unchecked rows now stay unchecked.
